Ok so my friend Alan Bezanson and I go to Chipolte for lunch. Good place for something quick and fairly healthy. We get to start talking about smartphones and how he keeps all of his contacts and email synchronized and what not. I relate to him how I am starting to pull my hair out keeping up with all of my contacts, texts, having to drag out my laptop to check emails etc etc, I am now seeing it’s costing me money and time spinning around trying to stay on top of this workload and how this device will allow me to do more without the hassle. I also see how the Droid is going to let me further cast my net for photography work, keep up with contacts and react quicker to anything that comes my way, not to mention the richness of being able to interact with the internet. Blogs, social networking, looking up locations geeze everything the internet has to offer from anywhere anytime.

Soooo I just freaakin got used to texting, got a keyboard phone never wanted to pay for the additional charges for unlimited web usage….and I see now resistance is futile…

Well bless me Alan has done most of the work, he even got a phone that worked well for him so well he wants to go top of the line Android X manufactured by Motorola, so he starts pointing out the things I could do with the Android X and I start seeing the time I could save, not much since now I might spend more time socializing and networking…but dang that’s what I need to do more of anyways. Anyways this thing is sounding more and more like it’s gonna kill a LOTTA birds with one stone. First no damn iPhone(link here for fair comparison) and it freakin ridiculous OS controlling what I do and how I do it. Video, amazing pics , sweet screen, gadzillion inputs and outputs, well alot more than the iPhone…please see here again. I’m sorry I said video but did I mention 720p video? Ah yes…oh yes I can even make it a wi-fi hotspot…and how much storage?? Buy a microSD card and make it what you want…

I pretty hyped, so I went back down to Verizon sorry I’m not plugging phone companies, no link and order that puppy after a few more questions for the representative, oh yeah they copied the ATT plan, actually undercut it a little so no advantage there iPhone, and find out I get a mail in rebate of $100 ah I didn’t know that it wasn’t posted…course they will get most of it back with the case I plan to buy and a vehicle mount so I can use it as GPS device, oh wow and or my tunes….

I think I might have found a way to not get an iPhone…I love the iPhone I just hate iTunes and Apples heavy control over what I do…now if I can just avoid buying an iPad, that thing is gorgeous, but the Droid just might buy me enough time to wait for someone else to bring out something to top even that…

oh and btw I was working out and had to deal with 2 clients texting, text a model, needed to mark my calendar and check a few things online…that Droid isn’t going to get here fast enough.

Yet another Reboot

Got torn away from getting my webpage together by a onslaught of shoots. I have come away with what I think is some really nice stuff. Time now to set aside a moment to present it to you. Hopefully this weekend I will have a little time to rework this site into what I want.

Ed Selby tells me there is a update of the theme I am using that allows much more control with additional presentation options I really like so I will not be adding a ton of new stuff as I would like.

So when the new theme comes out I will announce it. Then we will have a flood of new imagery to show my new directions.

The aircraft below were at the 2010 Peachtree Dekalb Airshow. The first I have seen of both in flying condition.

Organization

Still wrapping my head around this blog, trying to think the way Ed Selby wants me to about organization and meaning. Thus far I’m at a halt, still absorbing the informational overload heaped on to me.

I’ll get it soon, then watch this thing explode.

Reboot

Okaaay, set up WordPress with the help of friends mainly Ed Selby and Brian Garrett several months ago, got a wee bit started on it before getting distracted with model photoshoots and a roadtrip. Well I finally really want to start banging on this blog, get some buzz going and BOOM I’m hacked! Sooo Reboot time, so here I go with a second round. Ed Selby helped add more security and avoid some exploits this time around.
